Product and Payment Terms
- Established Accounts: Net 10 days.
- New Accounts: Certified Cheque at time of purchase, C.O.D.
VISA, AMEX or MasterCard up to a maximum of $5,000.
- Title remains with Johnston Equipment until the goods are paid in full.
- Equipment ordered online will be on hold in your name for 5 business days during which time you will be contacted by Johnston Equipment to confirm and finalize payment, shipping or pick up of the sale. If no sale confirmation has been made at the end of the 5 business days, the equipment will be returned to the web site for sale.
- All equipment for sale is FOB shipping point.
- Freight and taxes are additional and will be added to the final sale price.
Return Policy
- Sale of pre-owned, reconditioned or any used equipment is final, unless otherwise negotiated.
Damaged Shipments
- Orders shipped from our branches freight collect that arrive with any damaged goods must be noted on your bill-of-lading and a freight claim must be initiated with the carrier immediately.
- Orders shipped prepaid that arrive with any damaged goods must be taken up with your local Johnston Equipment branch. Our staff will gladly assist you in dealing with this situation. However, we cannot emphasize strongly enough, the importance of you inspecting the shipment, upon arrival.
